Supported Living Services

It is the policy of the Human Development Center to provide age and culturally appropriate training, and assistance in a variety of activities to support clients who live in their own homes or apartments.

The Supported Living program at HDC is the final step on a ladder to successful independent living within the community. Once a client achieves this goal, HDC provides continuing support services based on the individuals needs. The Supported Living program provides clients with training and guidance to promote self sufficiency and independence.

Services provided in Supporting Living may include:

  • Banking & Money Management
  • Transportation
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Meal Preparation
  • Housekeeping
  • Grocery Shopping
  • Individual behavior plans
  • Job Training, ADT Program
  • Adult academic or vocational education
